Offer Accepted...

Gary received a phone call from the seller on the house, Matt Leavitt, saying that he would accept the offer of $80,000.00 for the "scary house". Ryan sent me a text letting me know and I couldn't help, but laugh. It said "It looks like the house thing is going to work out so we need to get all our ducks in a row money wise."

Only a duck hunter would put it that way! Gotta love him!

Imagine My First Thoughts...

Ryan called me at work and told me that he and his dad had found us a house that needed some work. I know what he is capable of...pretty much everything (yep, I married a man of all trades, just like his dad) so a little work is just fine with me! He didn't tell me where exactly it was, but that it was in a great area with new houses across the street and no backyard neighbors, except for the occasional horse. During the day I got thinking about it and I remembered this SCARY looking house that had to have been vacant for years, except for all of the creatures that have made it their home. Right then, I knew what house he was talking about...We had looked at this house before, right after we got married and I wanted NOTHING to do with it. Really, do you blame me? Later that night Ryan took me to the house and there she stood just as I remembered, green tarp, sticker weeds and all! Now, I know what you are thinking, trust me I was thinking the same thing...Why would you want that house? The answer is, there is one thing that you and I have to remember...Ryan is a visionary man and he can see the potential that this little white house has, just wait and see...
