It's Official...

We finally closed on our house today! It has been quite the process. We did a 203K loan, which is a renovation loan. There is A LOT of stuff and people involved in this type of loan, so the process takes forever to finalize (we started the process, the middle of February 2010). Thanks to our great friend Cheryl Davies, the Renovation Specialist at Wells Fargo, who stood behind us all the way! She is an AMAZING woman! It has been one long road, but I know it will all be all worth the wait! Here is our house in all it’s glory…

Everything you see (except the outside walls) is going straight to the dump!

Yep,even the fabulous dryer that came with the house. See, I am NOT exaggerating, it's SCARY!!! Do you see the holes in the floor? Just imagine what crawls through them…EWW!

Plans, Plans And More Plans...

Since the Day we put an offer on the house Ryan has spent hours and hours drawing plans. He always asks me what I think and I always give him my opinion. We have never really talked in detail about what I would love in a house, but every little thing that I have said I liked about houses that we would see, he put a mental note in the back of his mind. It totally shows because he has incorprated many of those little details into the final house plans that he has so thoughtfully drawn. Here is the final plans...however, with all things I am sure there will be little changes...

I can't wait to see it in "real life"!
