The Best Seat In Town...

West Point City does a firework show on the third of July. This year almost every city if they did fireworks for the fourth, they were on the third due to it being Sunday on the fourth. Anywho, we are getting old and dealing with the big crownds for awesome fireworks just does not suit us anymore. I love the fireworks though...so I told Ryan since the park is just across the field behind us I bet we could sit in our backyard of dirt and have a great view of them. So, we loaded up a few chairs and headed down to our house. Adam and Tonya's family along with Gary and Kathy joined us and the results are...the view was perfect, the drive home was super fast(even faster next year ;), and we got to watch fireworks with NO crowd and went down just before they started! No more having to go to a park an hour or two before they start. Next year we should have grass and all we have to do is walk in our door when they are done. Yay! Certainly not the best fireworks I have ever seen, but actually not too bad for a small city. Sorry neighbors across the street...I am sure because of how tall our house is they couldn't see a thing like they have been used to for the past several years.
