I took work off today hoping that Ryan and I would go do something fun to celebrate. Oh, we did! It was quite romantic in fact. Haha! I pulled nails from where the old wood floor was and tore up the tarpaper while Ryan and Justin started setting the forms for my wrap around porch! Then off they went to do a concrete pour for one of Justin's jobs, while I finished my job.
After 3 hours of tedious work(thank goodness for I-Pods) my job is now complete…

Hey, I have to help out where I can because there is not much in the construction business that I know how to do!
The foundation is done, except for the waterproofing! Yep, we are moving right along! The guys were there early to set the forms and have since been back to remove the forms.
Now we just have to wait a few days for the concrete to fully set!
Later in the day, we did celebrate our anniversary with a much needed, “Romantic Retreat” massage and pedicure from...
it was HEAVENLY and well deserved!
And then off for a nice dinner at...
and it was, oh so YUMMY!
